Preventive voluntary and corrective maintenance campaign on certain electric water heaters manufactured by Ariston Group between 2007 and 2015

Ariston Group has always been committed to maintaining the highest level of safety, manufacturing quality and reliability for all its products. That's why Ariston Group has decided to launch a voluntary and preventive maintenance campaign on some water heaters all over the EU.

As a result of incidents occurred in France involving some models, our product quality monitoring procedures allowed us to identify a risk of overheating of product electrical components at the frontal cover, accentuated by non-compliant installations or lack of regular maintenance, involving electric water heaters produced between 2007 and 2015. In rare cases, this can cause a potential risk of fire water heater fire starting.

The models are floor standing water heaters on a support with a capacity of 200, 250 and 300 liters under some brands of Ariston Thermo Group.

There is a risk of overheating of the electrical components of the front cover. This risk is accentuated in the case of structures that do not comply with the regulations or the lack of regular maintenance. In exceptional cases it may cause a possible risk of fire in the electric water heater.
